Chelsea VS Brighton Hove Albion Game Preview 19 April 2021

Revitalized Chelsea will welcome Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, and will look to keep their recent form and finally break into the top four and increase their chances of playing European football next season. Brighton on the other hand, will look to try and salvage their season before they drop into the relegation zone, and say goodbye to the Premier League.

The Londoners have a chance to enter the top four with a win here, and will most likely put on a strong showing to further state their credentials as a force to be reckoned with, for next season. After beating Man City in their last game, they also have an FA Cup final date with Leicester, but manager Thomas Tuchel is wary of complacency, stating that he wants his players to take it one game at a time.

Brighton had a bright start to the season, but the packed schedule did their damage, as they now have to do with some of their best players out injured. They’re on somewhat of a mixed run in recent weeks, and will look to find a way back to winning ways. Coach Graham Potter will look to get his team in the best possible shape to fight one of the most in-form teams in English and world football right now, with the hope of ensuring PL survival.

In terms of team absentees, Chelsea have no long-term injured players, with Kovacic, Silva, and Christensen all doubts for the game, while Brighton will have to do without star right-back Lamptey, and March, while Andone, Connolly, and Tau are all doubts for the game tomorrow.
