Season endings don’t get more exciting than this - we got a derby between the two most successful sides in England. Both clubs have had their ups and downs, but now it’s time to fight it out.

Man United have been in scintillating form as of late, but their last game has been a bump. With a packed schedule threatening to ruin their season, coach OGS was forced to rotate his squad heavily for their last fixture, a 1-2 loss in the hands of Leicester. With their first team players now rested and recovered, we can expect United to be back to their ultimate best. An added motivation to the Red Devils can be the fact that should they win this game, Liverpool’s top-4 dreams are all but over. Furthermore, they’ll need to show good team chemistry and good potential if they’re to achieve their plan for the summer - attract top talent - as it has been rumored in the press for a while now.

Liverpool start admirably, then slumped magnificently, and are now resurging in a late bid to secure UCL football for next season. Many things went wrong for the Merseysiders, but instead of making excuses, they got down to grinding out results, and have done admirably. A win here would do their chances a world of good, and considering they have a game in hand, they might just make this top-4 race that bit more exciting. Jurgen Klopp has managed to turn around the season and salvage something from it, but the real test remains and is ahead of them.

Injuries are plaguing both teams, with United being without long-term absentees Jones, James, and Martial, while Liverpool’s long list of injuries has stayed pretty much the same - van Dijk, Origi, Matip, Kelleher, Henderson, Gomez, and Davis.

Old Trafford has rarely hosted games of higher importance than this, and with this one-of-a-kind season coming to a close, we might yet get something extra memorable from it. Tune in to see the game tonight!
