Manchester United VS Granada Game Review 15 April 2021

The Red Devils are preparing to welcome the Spanish side to Old Trafford for the second leg of the Europa League showdown. The English side carries a 2-0 advantage from the first game and will look to finish the job with another disciplined display, further affirming their status as one of the favorites to win the competition.

The Mancunians come into the game with a comfortable lead, and many will expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to field a youthful, weakened team. Resting key players is a priority for the Norwegian, as the closing part of the season is crucial, as United still have a chance to win a trophy. They’re currently on a good run, losing just once in their previous 10 games, which means they’re up for a strong finish.

As for the Spanish side, they currently sitting comfortably in 8th in La Liga, and have their full focus on the EL tie, but given their bad patch of form, we can expect either an explosion or a whimper. The task of beating the English giants at their ground will be made all the harder given they have loads of players unavailable through injury.

Man United will be without Martial, Bailly, and Jones, who will miss through injury, while stalwart Maguire, together with McTominay and Shaw will miss the game through suspension. Rashford and James are doubts, pending a fitness test. Granada have a long list of injured players, but they’ll have key-man Soldado, so not all is lost for them.
