This 36th round in the Turkish Super Lig gives us a game that is considered to be a real cracker, considering that both teams have a lot to play for. Besiktas will want to keep their lead at the top of the table, while Rizespor will want to try and consolidate their place in the middle of the table.

Rizespor come into the game on the back of a fine home form, as they’re undefeated in 11 of their last 12 home matches, and will look to dent Besiktas’ aspirations of making the gap between them and second-placed Fenerbahce hard to close. Their leaky defense might be a cause for concern, but their aggressive defensive play might cause problems for the Besiktas side, as they have loads of players out because of injury.

The Turkish league leaders come into the game with three wins and two draws in their last five, and will look to continue their charge for the first title in 4 years. Their away form is among the better in the league, and coach Sergen Yalcin will hope his depleted squad can find it in them to make one giant step towards the title with a win here. They are vulnerable on the counter, but their attacking prowess might prove too much for Rizespor to handle.

Both teams have loads of players out with injury and suspension, including key ones. Rizespor will be without Boldrin, Durak, Gorgen, Meriah, and Umar out for this game, while Besiktas will be without star striker Aboubakar, Hasic, Larin, Ozaykup, Rosier, Tosun, and Uysal.
