Asia’s qualification race goes on!

Tonight's another round in Group B from Asia's competition of who's going to be their representatives next year in the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Australia has the leading national team in the group, and behind them is the national team of Jordan in second place. The second-placed teams are having a chance to enter the World Cup as well if they have great scores and be one of the four best second-placed in the groups. This is the extra motivation for Kuwait to do their best tonight and try to end up in second place on the table since they are just 3 points behind Jordan.

Kuwait lost their last game against Australia, after the two winning matches in a row, against Chinese Taipei and Nepal. Andrés Carrasco’s squad played a totally dominating game against Chinese Taipei and won the match with a fantastic score of 9:0. Also against Nepal, they played a very good game and won the match with a score of 0:1. So there is no reason for Kuwait's best footballers to perform well tonight and get themselves closer to second place by beating the Jordanians.

Jordan on the other hand won two games in the row, one against Chinese Taipei, and one against Nepal as well. The match against Chinese Taipei was also with great dominance of the team from Jordan and ended up with a score of 5:0 for the Jordanians. In their last match, the Vital Borkelmans’ crew played against Nepal, and performed great once more, and won the game with a score of 0:3. So tonight they are facing the team that is their direct competitor for second place on the table, which makes them extra motivated to do their best.

We’re expecting a very offensive game, since both teams like the dynamic attacking approach of the game which will bring plenty of opportunities in front of the goalkeepers, and if the strikers are in good shape, plenty of goals.
