Lazio VS AC Milan Match Preview 26 April 2021

Lazio and AC Milan will play out what will be the remaining game of the 32nd round of the Serie A. And what a better way to enter the final weeks of the season than with a derby? The Rossoneri and the Biancocelesti will battle it out in what is a top of the table clash between clubs looking for Champions League spots for next season.

Lazio were in scintillating form until their last game against Napoli, which they lost, so now their record is four wins and one loss in their last five. All in all, they’re in a good run right now and coach Simone Inzaghi will want his troops to bounce back with a win, and move closer to a top 4 finish. They have made Stadio Olimpico a fortress, and have won their last 9 at home, and might make it 10 in a row!

AC Milan are also in a good run of form, having won three, drawn one, and lost one in their last five in all competitions. In Italy though, they have suffered a small decline in form and have lost the top position to Inter, and are now looking to make sure they finish second. Coach Stefano Pioli will hope his players can make it 5 wins in a row on the road, and put all doubts of a top four finish to bed.

Injuries have plagued both teams throughout the season, but in recent times things have improved a bit for them. Lazio only have Escalante and Luiz Filipe out for this game, while the Rossoneri will be without Ibrahimovic and Maldini, while Hernandez is a doubt.
