Landing 3 scatters in the base game activates the Free Spins round, which rewards you with 10 Free Spins. When the Medusa spin happens in the Free Spins round, all character symbols become wilds and have a random multiplier. 

The multiplier values are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 6x. Whenever a winning combination lands, it is multiplied by the total multiplier collected in a metre. 

When the multiplier is not used, it stays on the reels until it is applied in a winning combination.
